As the year 2020 wrapped up, the trivia games category on iOS in Europe showed some interesting trends. Using the data provided by Sensor Tower, let's take a closer look at the performance of the top five trivia games in the last quarter of the year.

Elevate - Brain Training Games saw a consistent revenue increase over the quarter, peaking at nearly $56K in late November. Downloads hit a high of around 19K in the last week of December, while weekly active users reached a quarter-high of over 126K in the same period.

Party Roulette: Group games also experienced a revenue hike, with a notable jump to $35K in the final week of December. The game's downloads soared to over 55K in that week, and the active users almost tripled from the start of the quarter, reaching over 80K.

For Millionaire Trivia: TV Game, revenue saw a modest increase towards the end of December at around $15K. The game’s downloads peaked mid-December at over 14K, and weekly active users had a high of over 77K towards the end of the month.

QuizDuel! Trivia & Quiz game witnessed a steady revenue growth, ending the quarter with revenue of approximately $18K. The game's downloads reached their zenith at the start of November with over 135K, and active users showed an upward trend, ending the year with over 362K.

Lastly, Kahoot! Play & Create Quizzes had its revenue grow to over $17K by the end of December. Downloads were highest mid-December at over 223K, and weekly active users spiked to nearly 788K in the same period, though they dipped to around 536K by year’s end.
